Nikon Camera Price Discrepancies

I am into photography, as a hobby. I originally chose the Nikon D700 because in 2008 it was one of the most awesome cameras for the price. I especially like the fact that it was one of the first slightly affordable full frame digital SLRs and its low light capabilities.

Now I am thinking for a future replacement. I am not in a hurry, but I am curious about what is coming up.

As I am living in Korea, I am also checking the local prices and comparing with prices back home in France and across the pond in the USA.

There are some interesting variations in prices between models.

Note: the prices are not definitive. There are constant deals here and there, and it's possible to find better deals as well as more expensive items in each of the three countries, but it still gives a good idea of the disparities.

So basically, if you leave in the USA, you might want to have a trip to Europe with your D4s, sell your camera there, and still end up with more money than you had before buying the camera.
