New Acquisition: Nerf Vortex Praxis

20140202-215053.jpg

I visited a Toys'R'Us recently and was literally stopped by this new gun.You see, I have two models that use a bunch of batteries, are heavy, and don't fire that far (though it's probably enough at home). But most importantly, they are not very accurate even indoor. Yet it's already a lot of fun.

So when I saw this new one which does NOT require any battery and seemed to introduce a new system (with discs instead of the usual darts), I could not resist the urge to buy it. Of course, having a young little boy did help justify the expense (still a reasonable 33,000 KRW, or approximately 30 bucks).

Verdict

Long story short: it blasts your pants in outer space. Really much better than the usual dart system because it's so much more accurate. No battery, and the pump system is rather easy to use.

The problem: I feel like I should replace my whole Nerf collection now, because it does not feel fair to use this against the conventional ones.

I was sold right after reading that product description. Who wouldn't?
